Description: This course is aimed at all those who need to understand the risks involved
in television work. The course provides an overview of the
risk management issues involved in television production.
In particular it will raise awareness of why and how we need
to control production risks; understand better the difference
and relationship between risk assessment and risk management;
and be clearer about your role and responsibilities and those
of others. It involves interaction among the candidates allowing
them to share and learn from each others experience. The outcome
is intended to provide a wide overview of the risks involved
with TV production work, hazard identification, risk assessment,
good health and safety management, working safely with contractors
and the legal framework.
