Description: This training course has been designed for all News staff both in television
and radio to give an overall understanding of what are the
basic acceptable safety criteria when working on location both
domestic and abroad.
News crews generally run in when everyone else is running out. There is seldom
time to write out a risk assessment so safety is managed by
crews thinking on their feet and dealing with ever changing
scenarios as they happen. This course ia about developing that
though process and learning from those who have done it for
years.
The course is suitable for the Producers, Directors, Location Managers, Unit
Managers, Location Engineers, Broadcast Journalists, Correspondents,
Resource Organisers, Camera Operators, Sound Recordists and
Location Editors.
